Summary

As an AmeriGas Cylinder Exchange (ACE) Delivery Rep you will drive one to two truckloads of filled cylinders to customer sites daily and exchange full gas grill cylinders for empties.  This is a physically demanding job as a full gas grill will weigh around 35 pounds.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver gas grill cylinders to resale locations such as gas stations, hardware stores and home improvement retailers
  • Make over 10 stops a day and exchange over 150 cylinders
  • At the end of each day the truck will be reloaded with full cylinders in preparation for the next day
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 21 years old with a valid CDL with HazMat and Air Brake endorsements, and acceptable driving history
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions
  • Ability to walk 1 to 3 miles, climb steps/ladders and carry multiple propane cylinders weighing up to 35lbs each.
  • Bending and climbing in and out of the truck
