And they’re easy to whip up with a few ingredients you likely have in your pantry already. So next time you’re looking for a perfect BBQ appetizer, a snack to serve while watching the game or just something delicious to make for your family, buy some meaty chicken wings and get grilling.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs. chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 4 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • ½ cup hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss wings in the mixture to coat.
  3. Grill wings for about 20 minutes or until fully cooked, flipping about every 5 minutes.
  4. While wings are grilling, heat butter, hot sauce, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar in a saucepan over low heat, whisking to combine.
  5. In a large bowl, toss grilled wings with the sauce, evenly coating.
  6. Then turn the grill up to medium-high heat and grill each wing 1-2 minutes per side, or until slightly crispy.
  7. Remove carefully and serve with ranch or blue cheese.
