Ingredients
- 16 large shrimp
- 8 pieces bacon
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- Salt & pepper, or your preferred seasoning, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat grill to 425.
- Peel shrimp leaving the tail on and devein, then toss in a bowl with olive oil and seasoning.
- Cut bacon slices in half longways, to make thin strips. Turn off one burner to create an indirect heat zone, and grill bacon with the lid open about 5 minutes. The bacon should be easily bendable, not crisp.
- Wrap one slice of bacon around each shrimp and secure with a skewer. If using bamboo, make sure to soak at least 15 minutes in water before using.
- Grill another 5 minutes on each side over indirect heat until shrimp and bacon are fully cooked.
